Anne Beaugé is one of 8 women out of the 90 or so skippers from various backgrounds, who lined up in La Rochelle on Sunday 22nd September at 2:15 pm, for the start of the 22nd edition of the Mini-Transat La Boulangère. This race, brings together the smallest ocean racing boats (only 6.50m long), links La Rochelle and Marin in Martinique (French West Indies) via the Canary Islands.

To participate in this race, Anne has asked for her networks, and especially her women’s networks to help. Alomey, with its Springboard Programme, will actively support Anne in her incredible challenge.

This support is part of the partnership already set up between Sandrine Meyfret, Manager of Alomey and ENTREPRENDRE AU FEMININ 17 (EAF17), to develop the SPRINGBOARD Programme, a work and personal development training course for women, for the first time in the West of France! An evening event was held on Tuesday, September 17th, around Anne and members of the network EAF 17, for them to get to know her, visit her boat and discuss her adventures as a woman sailor.

A Springboard © pilot programme is planned from November 15th 2019 in La Rochelle, with the support of the Crédit Agricole Lagord Atlantech agency, pilot and innovative agency of the Crédit Agricole. This program is proposed first to the members EAF17 and will be animated by Sandrine Meyfret.
